About Us

My name is Todd McBroom and like my Dad, R.C., working in the construction business with my sons is my greatest dream come true. At the age of 17, I started my first construction business performing concrete flatwork later graduating to becoming a licensed home builder. I watched my boys grow up surrounded by the construction business with myself, my dad and my closest friends all being contractors. I am proud of their accomplishments and excited to witness the dream of my father that continues to live.

My oldest son Beaux is my partner in Lafayette Construction LLC, my youngest son Jake is partered with us in Lafayette Concrete LLC, My middle son Matt owns a paint contracting business, Lafayette Coatings LLC.

We are a premium Home Builder and commercial General Contractor. We choose to focus on quality over quantity, we don't build large tracts of houses, we build homes that we are proud of. We never use builder grade products in our homes, we upgrade every part of the process from the slab to the shingles. All of our materials are chosen with the thought of quality and enjoyment, so that you have peace of mind knowing that you have a home built to last.
